  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership across all business verticals.
    • Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to strengthen the company’s position.
  2. Business Growth & Market Expansion:
    • Lead business development initiatives to expand market reach, customer acquisition, and service penetration.
    • Introduce innovative financing solutions and strategic partnerships to accelerate growth.
  3. Financial & P&L Management:
    • Own and manage overall business profitability, revenue targets, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives.
    • Monitor key financial and operational metrics to ensure achievement of business objectives.
  4. Credit, Risk & Recovery Management:
    • Strengthen credit underwriting, portfolio quality, collections, and recovery processes to minimize risk and maintain healthy asset quality.
    • Implement robust risk assessment and control mechanisms aligned with regulatory standards and business goals.
  5. Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure efficient, scalable, and customer-centric operations across loan origination, disbursement, servicing, and collections.
    • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies through data-driven decision-making and technology adoption.
  6. Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and internal governance requirements related to hire purchase operations.
    • Maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
  7. Leadership & People Management:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop leadership capabilities across teams to support long-term organizational growth.
  8. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, business partners, regulators, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
    • Represent the organization in industry forums, strategic discussions, and partnership engagements.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in hire purchase, asset financing, retail lending, or consumer finance.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, loan structuring, collections, recovery, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in business growth, P&L management, and strategic execution.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
